Happy Independence

Independence Day is the day when the nation got its final independence from the British rule.

The day is celebrated annually on August 15, as it is when the provisions of the Indian Independence Act 1947, transferring the legislative sovereignty to the Indian Constituent Assembly came into effect.

On this day, Indians wear the love for their country on their sleeves, and celebrate the day by flying kites with friends and family.
Independence Day is a day to pay tribute and remember all the freedom fighters who fought for the Independence of the country.
